Boarding

Your dog's home away from home...

Our approach to boarding is simple. Dogs play all day and are tired when it's time to go into their kennel at night.  All the interaction during the day makes for a good nights rest for your dog. We have staff that come back each night from either 8:00p or 9:00p to 10:00p depending on how many dogs are here, for exercise and a potty break. We are back in the next morning at 6:30AM to get them up for the day.

Whether it’s for a night, a week, a month or more, your dog will enjoy the amenities and benefits of Doggy Depot. Most boarding guests spend the day playing and interacting with other dogs of similar size and temperament.  We have spacious indoor and outdoor play areas.  Our outdoor play area is 6000 square feet.   Each dog sleeps and eats in a private crate. All boarders have access to the daycare area where they can play. Elderly pets are often allowed to visit our front desk area where they receive special treatment and a calmer environment.

Since each pet is unique, we ask that you fill out our registration form and let us know any of your pet’s special needs such as required medications, special diets, health and temperament concerns etc. We will also need a copy of your pets vaccination records, which your Vet can fax to us.  We require written proof of Rabies, Distemper/Parvo and Bordatella (kennel cough) vaccines. Please note that many Veterinarians administer the Bordatella vaccination only by request. Vaccinations must be current  24 hours before the pet arrives, except for the Bordatella vaccine that needs to be given at least 2 days before arriving at Doggy Depot.  Once your pet is registered, it takes just minutes to make a reservation.

We require that you bring your own dogs food when boarding, we don't want their diets to change while staying with us because this can upset their stomachs.  We do provide kennels, bedding, dog bowls, & toys.  You may bring your own toys, beds or blankets, but please do not bring anything uniquely valuable (things sometimes get chewed!)

All dogs must have an "ID" tag on their collar.

Daycare for Dogs

Dogs just love daycare at Doggy Depot. With ample room to play, lots of human attention and plenty of canine companionship, it’s just the thing for the bored, stressed or lonely pet. If you work long hours, daycare will benefit both you and your pet.

A typical day at Doggy Depot starts at 6:30am when the dogs start arriving.  They are grouped into individual playgroups according to their size and temperament. indoors or outdoors depending on the weather. There is typically 1 staff member with each play group, supervising the activities of the dogs.  We have rubber flooring through out our facility. which is comfortable for your pets.  All dogs play until about 11:30am and then they go into individual kennels for a 1 1/2 hour nap, and will resume play at 1:00pm. However, puppies & elderly pets may have an extra nap during the day.  Most dogs awake energized and ready to play for the afternoon, indoors or outdoors.  In the summertime we bring out our puppy pools for your pets enjoyment.

In addition we ask that you fill out our registration form and let us know any of your pet’s special needs such as required medications, exercise requirements, etc., so that we may give your family member the individual attention they require. We require written proof of Rabies, Distemper, Parvo and Bordatella (kennel cough) vaccines. Please note that many veterinarians administer the Bordatella vaccination only by request. Vaccinations must be current 24 hours before arriving at Doggy Depot, except the Bordatella vaccine needs to be given at least 2 days before coming to Doggy Depot. You may call your vet and ask them to FAX  the vaccination record to Doggy Depot, toll free 866-212-0082. Once your pet is registered, it takes just minutes to make a reservation.

Note: We recommend all dogs be spayed or neutered by 7 months of age. However, we will take dogs that are not spayed or neutered, but inappropriate behaviors consistently occur or while a dog is in heat will not be allowed.
